Tracmojo – simply track your mojo this New Year

The latest goal tracking app for this New Year is a bit simpler and more personal

TracMojo has recently been launched in the app stores and simply tracks your ‘mojo’ to help you become more like the person you want to be.

So, why another app? And what is different about this one?

Well, the Sydney based team behind TracMojo found that existing apps that tracked goals or mood were a little detailed in some aspects and whilst maybe great initially, they quickly become onerous and time-consuming to keep using. They therefore wanted to create an extremely quick to use tool that allowed a simple ‘check in’ on users goals & objectives that would continue to use over time.

So they came up with TracMojo as a free iOS & Android app that simply asks you to rate how you ‘feel’ about your own goals or objectives.  As the name suggests, It simply tracks your ‘mojo’ about anything you are seeking to achieve!

As co-Founder Nick Wilsher said, ‘We all have our desires & dreams about what would like to improve or change, about ourselves & in our lives. Often though, these often seemingly easy changes become buried & forgotten under the pressures of daily life. TracMojo is simply intended to keep these objectives in mind and make us more aware and honest about our progress.’

In TracMojo you create our own ‘trac’, which is any question relating to anything you want to achieve or monitor, set the frequency and then, when prompted rate it on a basic 1 – 5 scale of answers that you customise to suit your personality. Rrecord comments as you wish. Review the trac history graphs at your leisure.

Another feature developed is the ability to share any of your tracs with anyone you choose so they can follow your progress. As Nick continued, ‘We have learnt personally over the years the benefit in telling family or friends about objectives. It is invaluable to get that support when they see that your motivation is flagging’.

The founders see the app as being able to support a wide range of people with many different objectives, but they are especially interested in the value of it in supporting us in monitoring our fundamental state of mind in our busy, stress filled lives. They therefore developed the app to have a default trac of simply ‘ How Are You, Today?’  They hope that users will see the benefit in tracking and sharing this most basic of measures.

The app also allows you to create group tracs, so that teams or any group of people can track their combined ‘mojo’ relating to common objectives. This is great in building engagement across the group and allows insights to be uncovered via comments which can also be entered anonymously if need be. Large interest in this capability is already being seen from sports teams as well as project & small business teams.

The app is free to download from the App Store or Play Store or via the website www.tracmojo.com where more information can be found.
